This paper describes the use of data processing techniques in the undergraduate animal parasitology laboratory and considers two computer programs. The first introduces the student to the computer and its operation. The input is pH-distance data collected from the intestine of the domestic chick; the output is a graph of these measurements. In the second program the student enters growth data. This information is manipulated to yield growth parameters in both tabular and graphical form.
