General Eisenhower at Lafayette: Founders' Day 1946
General Dwight D. Eisenhower, then Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, was invited to address the College during Founders' Day celebrations on November 1, 1946. He was also a a guest of honor of the Easton Alumni Association’s dinner at the Hotel Easton. This visit was documented in a photograph album and in recordings on audio transcription discs.
